Charmaker MPP Key Features

The transportable pyrolysis furnace has the following key parameters:

Processes larger wood feedstocks, including logs. Minimal feedstock pre-treatment is required (no chipping required). To process larger woody feedstocks in a suitable time, the maximum recommended woody dimensions are: no greater than 150 mm diameter (6″) and 1.8 metres (6 foot) in length (the length limitation is a requirement of the current bin arrangement – larger lengths would be possible with larger bins).

A sophisticated control system with multi-sensory input operates the CharMaker MPP. Once the CharMaker MPP has ignited, operator input requirements are minimal. It can be operated unattended, and will quench and shut itself down at the conclusion of the process. This allows unattended operation overnight. The CharMaker MPP can then be unloaded the following day during work hours – thereby increasing the number of batches per work day.
